The future of the South End looks promising!

In a recent video posted NAIOP Massachusetts on March 5th 2013 we learn that the BRA is providing strong back for more development of Boston's South End. On March 5, 2013 NAIOP Massachusetts presented Boston's South End: What's New and What's Next, a panel featuring Ted Tye, Managing Partner at National Development; Justin Krebs, Principal and Region Head at Normandy Real Estate; and Douglas Landry, Senior Vice President for Land Development Services at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. as moderator. Randi Lathrop, Director of Business Development at the Boston Redevelopment Authority set the table for the discussion with a South End development and vision overview. The panel examined the major transformations currently in the works for Boston's historic South End including the transformation of the former Boston Herald site to apartments, retail shops, and restaurants as part of National Development's Ink Block project. In particular continued development of the 275 Albany project that will tie the South End to South Boston. So, if you own or plan on owning property in the South End this development should only make the neighborhood even more desirable!
